solace turns 3 today!! for an album all about addiction, isolation, friends, and one song about my ex, its definitely an album! but fr i love this thang. back when i didnt take the low end out of my reverb, back when "concert" was clipping a bunch at the end, back when i didnt know what a limiter was, back when i did a vocal take and thought "eh ok thats fine". as i said in my last post, i do want to completely redo this album (while keeping the original here as well). solace came from a want to make songs like this playlist. dont mind the some of the songs this was 2022 i was 18. anywho solace!! happy birthday!!!

i wanna talk about remakes. so ive been thinking about remaking some of the projects on here entirely. like uh NEAR & DEAR and maybe solace and e.y.e. like somethings i wanna change entirely like N&D cause its like really rough and i just wanted to put something out idk. but damn that whole project couldve been really cool. also if i do remake it, i would be releasing it under chara green and not HZC. i feel like a TOTALLY dropped the ball on CHARA the last song of the album cause damn its long but like i wanna remake it cause its REAL cringe. like obviously id keep it in the archives but like the new one would be that but better. hopefully i can get a ton of this done during summer. and like solace? goated, but like fuck i would love to just remake it (same synth patches) but drums and guitar and vocals ALL redone. if i have the time to soon i toats will. cause like 3 years of progress after both of them? damn. also i wanna redo eye but just like flat out get rid of the old one. (maybe). cause like i rechecked a bunch of the songs and im realizing everything i did wrong with them. like opalesce is SLAMMING THE LIMITER LIKE SO BAD LIKE -20db BAD. anywho its fucking almost 80 degrees here so yayayay!
